I’m not sure there’s a better way to celebrate 365 days than squishing cake in your toes! Happy Birthday Gabriel!!

It’s no secret I love photographing newborns. There’s something about giving people the memories of what their baby looks like brand new, when they’re so full of pride and joy that I just love. We all know how fast babies grow up and look so different even in a few months… it’s so wonderful to remember them so tiny and innocent.

It’s in that spirit that I want to do a newborn special. For the month of February, if you book your newborn session with me you will get 25 5×7 flat custom birth announcements. The session doesn’t have to take place in February, just has to be booked then. So if you’re expecting, or know someone who’s expecting now is a great time to book in.

April, May and June are already more than half booked. I take a limited number of newborn sessions so that I can make sure I give the best possible experience to all of my clients, so if your due date is within those months please book as soon as possible to make sure you get a date.

It’s so nice to watch clients families grow. I met these guys at an outdoor mini-session last year and now they’re back with baby number 2… who is a complete doll by the way. She had so many expressions and sweet little smiles for me.

Meet 8 day old Sullivan, one of the smiliest babies I’ve ever had in the studio. He slept like a dream and I just fell in love with him right away!

Yesterday we were at the farm, which is my grandparents place, for Gabe and Koen’s first skate. It’s full of memories for me there, as it was where I first learned to skate with my brothers. While winter isn’t generally a favorite time of mine, this is one of the good times that I hope Gabe and Koen remember forever as well.

Lacey and I made cookies for Santa the night before he came. I have to say… I’m not much of a baker. I’m a great cook… but baking, not so much. I can’t say these were super yummy, which is why we left the whole lot at my dad’s, but it was fun doing it with her. I love that girl

It’s always a treat to have previous clients come in when there’s another little babe on the way. Jaclyn was in last week, looking stunning as usual. I can’t wait to do the newborn photos… I have a feeling this wee one is going to be a real cutie pie!
