Last week I had the chance to photograph a family that was up for anything. It rained on us, and the boys still just played away in the long grass with their rubber boots. They were adorable, super playful and really fast! Here are a few from our session.

Last week I spent a few hours with the Kolbuc family. I had a new prop to try out, a gorgeous vintage pram. It’s always a guessing game as to how a new prop looks until I see them on my computer, but I think we got some cute ones. Here are a few from our session.

Last night I spent an hour with the Manning family, chasing around the sweetest little boy on earth. Those brown eyes on little boys get me every time! Sweet, but fast! He made me work and definitely has some of his daddy’s athletic ability!

I love taking photos of my own kids, but it’s not often they’re interested and want to play along. Last night they loved it, jumping on the bed, posing.. they were so adorable. Here’s a few… sigh… I love those bunnies!

This week I had a chance to photograph these beautiful little twins and their big brothers. The babies were sleepy little angels and their big brothers were both so proud and gentle with their baby brother and sister. Here’s a little sneak peak into our session.

Yesterday afternoon Shelley, Alison and I went to this beautiful old house to take some photos for my Marta Locklear workshop. It was cold and windy but they were troopers for me the whole time. As I was editing these I was just stunned at how beautifully both of these girls photograph. They both did such a great job. Thanks ladies! Here are a few of my favorites… and it was hard to choose because I really love a ton of them!

It was so nice out today I got everyone dressed and dragged them out into the snow for yet another workshop project. You’ll be seeing a lot of these for the next week or so while I’m doing this workshop. Gabe did a amazing job of being my model today! I got a few that are my new favorites of my favorite boys.

Last week I had the chance to photograph twins for the second time, and I have to admit I was pretty nervous! Twins are hard at the best of times, but these little sweeties were in between the newborn, sleepy phase and the giggly, happy phase that I usually like to photograph babies. It ended up being a great session and I just love how big sis is snuggling one of her baby sisters. Such a sweet moment

It is so not fair. Why is it it takes me 6 months to resemble anything like I did before I had a baby, and some people look like this  a week after? Good thing she’s one of my best friends or I’d have to hate her:) And then there’s our precious little Sydney and Owen, too cute for their own good!

I love the look on a mom’s face with her new little baby. Somehow it doesn’t matter that there’s been no sleep, lots of messes and a little crying. There always seems to be a special sparkle in her eyes…
