Yesterday we were at the farm, which is my grandparents place, for Gabe and Koen’s first skate. It’s full of memories for me there, as it was where I first learned to skate with my brothers. While winter isn’t generally a favorite time of mine, this is one of the good times that I hope Gabe and Koen remember forever as well.

This year I’ve decided to do something a little different than the usual Christmas Cards I offer that I think is pretty fun. I’m offering these cute little round cards that will double as tree ornaments. Just punch a hole through the top and slip in a pretty ribbon and you have a very sweet and original Christmas card. They are 5×5, come with envelopes and are $125 for 25 cards. If you’ve had a session with me this year and want to order them, send me an email! I think they’re super cute!

This time of year is so lovely for family photos. I just love the colors and gorgeous haze you get with taking photos when the sun is low in the fall. It doesn’t hurt when your clients are adorable… look at these 2 little girls! Sweet as can be

Last weekend I met up with Kristy, Trevor and Ava for their family session and as I was editing these today I was loving them so much. Not because everyone was looking at the camera with their perfect smiles, but because it was so wonderful to see these moments that they had together, the silent unspeakable memories. It’s so sweet to see the connection between all three of them, to see Ava dancing with her daddy and feel her mommy’s love with a cuddle… to watch her enjoy her blissful little life. These are my favorite kind of sessions.

Last weekend I did a few fall family sessions… the light was gorgeous and I really enjoyed getting out there and shooting again. I loved so many from these sessions… it was hard to choose what ones to blog!
