This year I’ve decided to do something a little different than the usual Christmas Cards I offer that I think is pretty fun. I’m offering these cute little round cards that will double as tree ornaments. Just punch a hole through the top and slip in a pretty ribbon and you have a very sweet and original Christmas card. They are 5×5, come with envelopes and are $125 for 25 cards. If you’ve had a session with me this year and want to order them, send me an email! I think they’re super cute!

I will also be offering regular 5×7 cards as well. Design options to come!

I was just getting this ready for a client and had to share… I just think it’s so cute! Seriously, little Ada is just a doll!

I thought I’d add a few fun new options to the mix for client prints. I want what’s on my wall to be fun and artsy, to go with my house. These will look great as canvas or prints in your hallway, living room, nursery or child’s room. You can change up the background and the frames, colors… really whatever you want.

I just ordered this for my hallway… or stairs… not sure yet. I’m so excited! I ordered it as a 16×20 canvas gallery wrap. I love that saying. I’m thinking about offering these fun canvasses for clients that want to incorporate their photos into something a little different. What do you think?

Here are my 2010 Holiday Cards. If you would like one, or you recently did a fall mini-session, choose the card by the number above it. Try to stick to the amount and orientation of photos when you’re choosing yours. I can always modify them though if it doesn’t work the way you want. Colors can also be changed. The cards are $100 for 25 cards.

It’s hard to believe but it’s coming up to that time of year where we have to start thinking about Holiday cards with the adorable photos of your happy family to send out to all your friends and family. I’ve been working on some new designs for this year, trying to keep it bright and cheery. I have a lot more to do, so if there’s something in particular you’d like to see send me an email and I’ll do it in my next round of designs.

The cards are printed on pearl paper and have a bit of a glimmer texture to them. If you’ve ordered birth announcements from me, or received a thank you card with your photos that’s the texture. It’s really pretty and my favorite. Other choices are standard semi-gloss, art linen and art watercolor paper. If you don’t tell me otherwise I will order them on pearl paper.

I’m also going to be offering family mini-sessions this year for those of you that want a fall/winter feel to your cards instead of using last year’s session photos or the summer session photos. Those sessions will be in October and will be short half-hour sessions. I’ll be posting dates and pricing today or tomorrow so stay tuned for that.

You can use photos from a previous session with me on your holiday cards, or you can take advantage of the family mini-session offer in October.

Last week I met up with Rebecca Lappa and her mom for her CD cover shoot. Although you can’t tell in some of these photos, Rebecca is only 13 and already well on her way to a career in music. This is her second CD and she plays all over at festivals. I’m doing the design for the CD as well so I’ll post that once it’s done.

The last few weeks I’ve been sneaking in time between editing sessions to get some custom designed Christmas cards ready. They’re finally done! There are 5×7 folded cards and 5×7 flat cards to choose from. They will be selling for 25 cards for $100.

I’m going to be planning some mini-sessions out in the snow for people who specifically want Christmas cards with snow in the photos. More to come on that.
