The very popular family mini-sessions are coming

I’m so excited to start shooting outside and wanted to announce my family mini-sessions early this year so I can add some more dates if I need to. As many of you know, I’m expecting baby number 3 so I will not be shooting past the middle of July. I’m already about half booked for June and July, so if you want to get a family session, or a mini-session in please contact me as soon as possible.

I’ve decided to do some studio mini-sessions just for kids. They will held at my home studio in Sherwood Park. Each session will be 20-30 minutes, depending on how many children are involved. There will be limited sessions available on Saturday, February 26th between 10am and 4pm. Contact me if you’re interested!

These are a great deal compared to my regular pricing. For a regular session you would pay $150 session fee and $500 for 10 digital files. Get in while you can!

I thought I’d add a few fun new options to the mix for client prints. I want what’s on my wall to be fun and artsy, to go with my house. These will look great as canvas or prints in your hallway, living room, nursery or child’s room. You can change up the background and the frames, colors… really whatever you want.

I just ordered this for my hallway… or stairs… not sure yet. I’m so excited! I ordered it as a 16×20 canvas gallery wrap. I love that saying. I’m thinking about offering these fun canvasses for clients that want to incorporate their photos into something a little different. What do you think?

Here are my 2010 Holiday Cards. If you would like one, or you recently did a fall mini-session, choose the card by the number above it. Try to stick to the amount and orientation of photos when you’re choosing yours. I can always modify them though if it doesn’t work the way you want. Colors can also be changed. The cards are $100 for 25 cards.

I have tons of family sessions booked in the next few weeks, along with the fall mini-sessions on October 2nd and 3rd, and I’ve had a lot of questions about what to wear. I’ve put together this little guide with some ideas on how to coordinate without looking too matchy matchy.

Depending on the weather on the day of your shoot, layering is a great option, and even bring along your warm jackets to take off for a few minutes at a time while we shoot. Bring along hats and scarves especially for the kids as well. Of course, incorporate your own style and have fun!
