Meet Ivy, a very loved little girl
I love having newborns in the studio. I love that families will have photos of what they looked like in the first few weeks of life, because they change so quickly. Little Miss Vu was about as gorgeous of a baby as I’ve ever seen. Full of chubby little rolls and full lips and perfect skin. Oh, and her eyelashes… to die for!

Last week I had Deanne over for a maternity session. Her due date was actually the next day so she was a full 9 months, ready to go! Doesn’t she look beautiful!

A few months ago my cousin and I had a conversation. It went something like this, Hey Karey, you want to shoot my wedding? Me: mmmm not really. Kirsten: What if it’s in Vegas? Me: Hell ya!
So, as a quick disclaimer.. I don’t normally do weddings. In fact, this is the first one I’ve done in about 5 years. And, I didn’t actually shoot the wedding. They had photographers at the ceremony that did that as well as the family photos… sooooo, lucky me got to just do the fun stuff with Kirsten, Scott and the wedding party.
And seriously, what a great group they had… they barely made fun of me when I clearly deserved some serious ribbing. I was running on hardly any sleep (ps.. BAD idea to bring your 6 month old teething daughter on a trip to Vegas) and lost my phone and sunglasses 3 or 4 times. Oh, and there was the fall… really wasn’t my best moment! But hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to get the shot
I never post this many, but it’s a pretty fun shoot and I just couldn’t help myself. So, congratulations Kirsten and Scott. I know you have an amazing life ahead!

Karey, I found your photo from this shoot on Pinterest. I wanted to see more, and just wanted to let you know that I love the entire concept on this photo shoot. The background is breathtaking and the props are amazing. I am a photographer lover and it is only a hobby but the creativity in these pictures is so cool. I am sure that she was thrilled with your photos and what a great way to remember her day!!!!!!! Sincerely, a true new fan.

This are incredible! My Niece is getting married in Vegas as well and I’d love to know where exactly this location is! It looks like it could be one of the Ranches near RedRock Canyon? Thanks!
