This post is sooo long overdue. Awhile back, my cousin (Kirsten Komant from the Beauty Parlor) and I had Jamie come over to do a fun fashion shoot. She was awesome and gave us full reign to style and shoot her how we wanted, which was so fun for us. I love how they turned out. Jamie did an amazing job of modelling for us, and Kirsten killed it on the styling. FYI, Kirsten does all the styling for me for my boudoir shoots. We would both love to get into a little more fashion photography, and for our first experimental shoot I think it went really well!

I recently upgraded my camera, lights and backdrops. Lots of investment but it seems necessary given the -13 temperatures I saw in my car thermostat today. I’m hoping to offer some fun kids mini-sessions soon, but in the meantime here are a few of my hubby I took tonight playing with my new toys.

Yesterday afternoon Shelley, Alison and I went to this beautiful old house to take some photos for my Marta Locklear workshop. It was cold and windy but they were troopers for me the whole time. As I was editing these I was just stunned at how beautifully both of these girls photograph. They both did such a great job. Thanks ladies! Here are a few of my favorites… and it was hard to choose because I really love a ton of them!

I did a shoot with Emily today, and yes she is only 13. Unbelievable, I know. You are going to have a very nice career ahead of you Emily! You did great today:) Here’s a little peak at what we got up to.

Ok Ok, I know I’m only posting photos of her this week but that’s because there are so many good ones for me to edit! I have 4 shoots coming this week so there will be some new models, I promise. But seriously, how gorgeous is she!

Last week I did a session with the lovely Samantha. It was my first session with a real model and I think it went pretty well. At the very least we had fun! Thanks Sam!
