It was so nice out today I got everyone dressed and dragged them out into the snow for yet another workshop project. You’ll be seeing a lot of these for the next week or so while I’m doing this workshop. Gabe did a amazing job of being my model today! I got a few that are my new favorites of my favorite boys.

Today was a good day. Not only did I get to hang out and drink large amounts of coffee with two great friends, I also got to take photos of one of the most beautiful little boys I’ve ever seen. Perfect skin and gorgeous eyes and the sweetest little smile. Meet sweet little baby Jett and his momma Jen. Thanks for hanging out girls!

What do you do if you’re home on holiday Monday and are a little bored? Seems like setting up studio and taking photos of the kids is a good idea;) I haven’t managed to get many good shots of Lacey so that was the goal today. She’s so much harder than Gabe. I did a shoot with Emily today, and yes she is only 13. Unbelievable, I know. You are going to have a very nice career ahead of you Emily! You did great today:) Here’s a little peak at what we got up to.

Ok, so he’s not a baby anymore. He’s going through a little bit of a talking back and arguing with me phase that really irritates me, but I look at a photo like this and my heart just melts. I guess he’ll always be my little baby, even if he is growing up.

On Saturday I had a great time doing a maternity session with Dorrie and Lorne. They swore to me there are twins in there but you’d never know it with how tiny she is. If only we could all look like that pregnant! I know I sure didn’t:) Now I can’t wait to see the little bunnies! They’re going to be gorgeous! Here are a few from our session.

On Monday night I had a session with 7 adorable kids from 3 different families. I’m never sure how a session with that many kids together is going to go, because when they’re little like that it’s always unpredictable. We took our time and they did great. Here are a few from the session.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the Hurleys. I’ve known Kelly since I was in grade 7, which is a VERY long time:) As I was editing these I couldn’t get over what a gorgeous family they are, both inside and out. Here’s a few from the session. Today we went outside before lunch because I wanted to get a few good shots of Lacey… well she wanted nothing to do with me so Gabe jumped in and decided he wanted his photo taken. Wowsers… he has his daddy’s eyes… Not the color or shape, but when he gets in front of a camera he does this thing with his eyes that make me think I can see right down into his soul. It’s something John can do as well, which I think is why they’re both so photogenic and perfect models for me.
