Last week I photographed sweet, smiley Cohen. I know I always say it, but I have to say again, I LOVE this age! He was so smiley and happy and full of character. Here are a few of our session.

Lately I’ve had a ton of newborns, and I LOVE newborns, but yesterday I had a 6 month old little boy named Lukas. I think he’s converted me… I think this might be my favorite age! I loved this little boy, from his cute little giggle, his many faces and his blue blue eyes.

Last week I had this little cutie pie Tyson and his big brother Matteu (sorry, not sure if I spelled that right!). These two little boys had gorgeous, brown, bambi like eyes and Matteu was such a sweet and loving big brother. Tyson wasn’t sure about me at first and kept giving me the stink-eye, but warmed up after a little while and fell asleep in my wooden bowl for a few sleepy shots at the end.

Last week I had the chance to photograph twins for the second time, and I have to admit I was pretty nervous! Twins are hard at the best of times, but these little sweeties were in between the newborn, sleepy phase and the giggly, happy phase that I usually like to photograph babies. It ended up being a great session and I just love how big sis is snuggling one of her baby sisters. Such a sweet moment

Today was a good day. Not only did I get to hang out and drink large amounts of coffee with two great friends, I also got to take photos of one of the most beautiful little boys I’ve ever seen. Perfect skin and gorgeous eyes and the sweetest little smile. Meet sweet little baby Jett and his momma Jen. Thanks for hanging out girls!

Lately I’ve been loving all things old and rusty. I’ve been to the Antique Market a ton lately and just love searching through all the treasures. I imagine where they came from, who played with it 50 years ago, why someone decided they didn’t want it anymore. The rust and the peeling paint, the crooked handlebars and the wobbly wheels all have a story. As I get older I’m realizing more and more that beauty isn’t always in the new shiny and new. Old is beautiful.

So, I’ve decided to do a series of photos called vintage love. Some will be new photos that I edit in a way to look vintage. Some will be photos of vintage items I’ve scavenged. All will be beautiful in their own, old, way. I’m kicking it off with a photo of my little man Koen that I took yesterday and one of Lacey-girl when we were in Spain.

I spent the day with my big brother and his family yesterday and took a few photos in the process. This little guy makes me smile every time, I just love him so much. He has one of those contagious smiles that gets me every time. He’s my little love-bug and you see his best friend in these photos, Lamb-chop. Love you guys!

I did this session a few weeks ago and have finally just gotten around to posting it. This is one adorable family and I think the sweetest, most polite little boy I’ve ever met. He loved my vintage car, which was my latest find at the antique market. I love it! Thanks guys!

What do you do if you’re home on holiday Monday and are a little bored? Seems like setting up studio and taking photos of the kids is a good idea;) I haven’t managed to get many good shots of Lacey so that was the goal today. She’s so much harder than Gabe. He flashes me those puppy dog eyes and the camera just loves it. Here’s a few…
