This time of year is so lovely for family photos. I just love the colors and gorgeous haze you get with taking photos when the sun is low in the fall. It doesn’t hurt when your clients are adorable… look at these 2 little girls! Sweet as can be

A few weeks ago I met Finn and his mom and dad at this cute little park in Edmonton. It was a crazy hot day for me being 8 months pregnant, but it was worth it for these shots of Finn. Seriously, how cute is he!? And I loved the graffiti wall on one of the sheds… it was perfect for this funky family!

I met this little darling and her momma last week for a studio session. She wasn’t too sure about me… but we managed to squeeze in a few smiles! Here are a few from our session. Oh, and that pink blossom tree is in my front yard, isn’t it lovely! I need to get some pics of my kiddos in there this week before I lose the color!

I’ve decided to do some studio mini-sessions just for kids. They will held at my home studio in Sherwood Park. Each session will be 20-30 minutes, depending on how many children are involved. There will be limited sessions available on Saturday, February 26th between 10am and 4pm. Contact me if you’re interested!

These are a great deal compared to my regular pricing. For a regular session you would pay $150 session fee and $500 for 10 digital files. Get in while you can!

Today Lacey asked me to do a “photo shoop” and it’s usually so hard to get her to go along with me, and I wasn’t going to get any work done with her bugging me today anyway, so I pulled out my brand new pink damask backdrop and we had a fun little session together. I know she’s mine, and there’s a slight chance I’m biased, but I think she’s just about the sweetest, cutest, silliest little girl I’ve ever met. Here are a few from the half hour I got with her. She has a short attention span for “photo shoops”.

I’m also thinking about offering some little mini-sessions like these for children. If anyone has any interest in that please email me, or leave me a comment and I’ll try to plan a date in the next month or so.

Since she was born, Gabe has called her Lacey-girl. We don’t know why… but it stuck. I think she’s just about as beautiful as they come, but I may be biased
