Family Photography Sessions

Family photography sessions, in the warm glow of sunset light, full of laughter and running kids are my favourite kind of sessions. They last from 30 minutes to one hour and can be at various locations. Through the summer and fall I like to shoot outside in Sherwood Park or Edmonton, 1-2 hours before sunset. I find these make for the most beautiful, natural images.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. When should I book my session?

It's best to book your session about 3 months in advance to make sure I have availability.

2. Where will we shoot?

If it's during the cold months we can shoot at an indoor location or in your home. During the spring, summer and fall I prefer to shoot outside. I have various locations throughout Edmonton and Sherwood Park that I regularly use and am open to any suggestions.

3. What should we wear?

It's great if you can plan your outfits ahead of time with an idea or style in mind. There are a lot of ideas on pinterest with a quick search of what to wear to a photo session.

4. What happens if the weather is bad?

I'm always watching the weather to see if it looks like it will rain or be very cold. I prefer to reschedule if possible when the weather isn't looking good. I would always rather you have the best conditions available to get the best photos you can. If rescheduling isn't an option, we will look for an alternate location to avoid the bad weather.

5. What happens if one of my children is under the weather?

If you have a child under the weather please let me know as soon as possible. I will reschedule because when kids aren't feeling well I have a hard time getting smiles and play out of them, and I always like to aim for the best possible outcome.

6. Do you sell prints, canvas, cards, etc?

Yes! I sell prints, fine art prints, canvas, wood prints, metallic prints, cards and albums. Please enquire for a full price list.
